Atlanta man's Braves season tickets suspended pending review of team loyalties
Citing evidence of a fan's "conflicted loyalties", Atlanta Braves GM Frank Wren today issued an unprecedented season ticket suspension order.
"The Internet has revealed Brandt Ross' conflicted loyalties to the Braves franchise, which has led to this unfortunate suspension," Wren said in a prepared statement. "Not only has a blog revealed incontrovertible evidence that Ross has competing loyalties, but reliable sources indicate that he also has been a Phillies, Cubs, Yankees, Mets, Marlins and Diamondbacks fan, depending upon his current residence, time of day, current wind speed and score of the game."
Braves season ticket-holders are subject to a lengthy list of rules, according to sports attorney Fester Gadspittle.
"While atypical, this sort of thing isn't unheard of. What is unheard of is a baseball fan whose loyalties shift with the breeze and the latest winning streak. I've never heard of a fan with this many teams he claims as his favorite."
Ross was recently apprehended attempting to enter Turner Field wearing a disguise, but was turned back when an observant security official recognized his worn styrofoam tomahawk.

CFA Lifetime Achievement Award

My last meeting (of 28) was pretty amazing. The attached crude photo shows (at the top), a special presentation where I was added to the CFA Wall of Fame ( 6 recipients in 54 years); the lower left is the Silver award for 3rd most fees earned this past year along with the tombstones; and the lower right is a special award for the first deal ever....that involved collaboration between 4 offices.
It was a pretty special evening; we had our 30 U.S offices represented plus representatives from Canada, France, India, and China.
It was most touching; people could not have been nicer and fortunately, my last "Dealmaker Blues" went off pretty well.I felt good about the fact that it was the right time.......I didn't want to go out like Willie Mays, who arguably, was the greatest player of all time, who hung around too long....hobbling off the field.
I wish you could have been there to share it but this will have to do... It was a night to remember for both Mom and I, and, boy do they all love her... much more than me.
